Job summary

Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere is seeking a dedicated gardener/landscaper to maintain the exterior grounds, car parks, lawns, and landscaped areas at the Knutsford property. The role involves planning planting schemes, executing landscaping projects, and ensuring high standards of detail and safety while collaborating with colleagues and guests.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of gardening experience, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as a gardener or landscaper.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Planning and implementation of planting schemes and landscaping projects.
• Good communication skills.
• Good work ethic and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of the Hotel and Spa gardens, car park and drives, lawns, and other landscaped areas.
• Planning, costing, and implementation of planting schemes.
• Planning and implementation of landscaping projects.
• Maintain health and safety practices and good time management.

To carry out all required duties to maintain the exterior appearance of the property including gardens, car parks, lawns and other landscaped areas.

Job Description

• Dailymaintenance of the Hotel and Spa gardens, car park and drives, lawns, and other landscaped areas
• Planning,costing, and implementation of planting schemes
• Planning and implementation of landscaping projects
• To achievea high levelof attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
• To be highly motivated and productive with a strong work ethic
• To communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors,membersand guests
• To alwaysmaintainhealthy and safe working practices
• Good timemanagement

Qualifications
