Job Description
- Impeccable Cleanliness — Maintain exceptional presentation and cleanliness of the spa
- Linen & Supply Care — Replenish towels, linens, and guest supplies with accuracy and consistency
- Cleaning Standards — Follow all cleaning procedures, including deep- cleaning schedules and Fairmont brand standards
- Maintenance Reporting — Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly
- Guest Privacy — Handle guest belongings with absolute respect, discretion, and professionalism
- Guest Interaction — Respond warmly and professionally to guest requests with a guest-first mindset
- Health & Safety Compliance — Adhere to hygiene, COSHH, and manual-handling regulations
- Daily Briefings — Participate in briefings and ongoing training to maintain service excellence
- Lost & Found — Support accurate, confidential handling of lost-and-found items
- Team Culture — Contribute to a respectful, positive, and supportive team environment
- Fairmont Standards — Uphold Fairmont grooming, communication, and service expectations at all times
Qualifications
- Experience — Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally in a luxury hotel
- Attention to Detail — Strong eye for detail and pride in delivering exceptional standards
- Cleaning Knowledge — Understanding of cleaning techniques, hygiene standards, and room presentation
- Health & Safety — Awareness of UK health & safety regulations, including COSHH (training available)
- Teamwork & Independence — Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Time Management — Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Professionalism — Courteous, professional, and guest-focused approach
- Physical Capability — Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
- Passion for Hospitality — Genuine enthusiasm for luxury service and creating memorable guest experiences
