PLEASE NOTE: The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time engaging with and supporting the London hospitality design and specification community. For this reason, candidates based within close proximity to Central London will be strongly preferred.

Are you a design-focused, customer-driven professional with experience managing a showroom or gallery environment within the commercial interiors sector? Do you thrive on inspiring clients, curating exceptional experiences, and being at the heart of the design community?

If so, we are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a world-renowned, market-leading Manufacturer of Bathroom & Sanitaryware Solutions, for an experienced Gallery & Showroom Manager to lead their flagship London space.

This is a unique opportunity to combine showroom leadership with design community engagement building relationships with architects, interior designers, clients, and end users across commercial and residential projects.

The Role
  • Take ownership of the flagship London showroom, ensuring it remains a design destination and source of inspiration.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the showroom/gallery team to deliver exceptional service and client experiences.
  • Drive visitor numbers by curating engaging events, exhibitions, networking opportunities, and presentations. Must demonstrate a creative mind and an ability to think outside the box
  • Maintain cutting-edge product displays and ensure the showroom reflects the brand’s premium positioning.
  • Develop and manage relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, and clients within the hospitality, hotel, and leisure sectors.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align showroom activities with wider business goals.
  • Host client visits, CPD sessions, and design-led events to strengthen brand presence and generate opportunities.
  • Oversee day-to-day showroom operations including hospitality, events, health & safety, and building management.
  • Be the key executor of the Gallery Business Plan, ensuring the space continues to inspire, educate, and connect the design community.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven experience managing a showroom, gallery, or client-facing design-led environment (commercial interiors, floor coverings, wall coverings, furniture, sanitaryware, or similar).
  • Strong business development and networking skills, ideally with established connections in the hospitality, hotel, and leisure design sector.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to translate showroom engagement into project opportunities.
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail, presentation, and brand standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, confident engaging with designers, specifiers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; additional experience with design/creative software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) desirable.
