Co-op is hiring a Funeral Service Crew member on a full-time, 37.5 hour week in London. Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

• Collect the deceased from various locations in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Bear coffins on the day of the funeral and drive funeral vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities including vehicles.
• Prepare coffins and engrave name plates.
• Prepare the deceased for viewings and the funeral with care.
• Maintain client management systems with timely, accurate updates.
• Safely lift and move coffins using proper techniques and equipment.
