Job summary

Supply Star Recruitment Limited is seeking a motivated Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Maths and English sessions on a part-time basis in Coventry. You will support learners in achieving Functional Skills qualifications and build confidence in numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons from Entry Level to Level 2, adapting methods, tracking progress, and preparing for assessments, with a focus on an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 3/4 Award in Education & Training) or willingness to work towards one.
• Functional Skills or GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
• Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and/or English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners with varying abilities.
• DBS certificate is required.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and supportive Functional Skills Maths and English Tutor to join work on a part-time basis.
