Job summary

Supply Star Recruitment Limited is seeking a part-time Functional Skills Maths and English Tutor to deliver engaging, learner-focused sessions. You will help students achieve Functional Skills qualifications and develop confidence in essential numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons (Entry Level to Level 2), adapting methods to learners’ needs, tracking progress, preparing for assessments, and maintaining accurate records in line with organisational

Qualifications

Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
Functional Skills or GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and/or English.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage learners with varying abilities.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Functional Skills Maths and English lessons (Entry Level to Level 2).
Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learner needs.
Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare learners for assessments and exams.
Maintain accurate records in line with organisational requirements.
Provide a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
