Job summary

Supply Star Recruitment Limited is seeking a motivated Functional Skills Maths and English Tutor on a part-time basis. You will deliver engaging, learner-focused sessions to help students achieve Functional Skills qualifications and build confidence in numeracy and literacy.

The role requires a teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one), a clear DBS certificate, and proven experience in teaching Functional Skills Maths and/or English.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Functional Skills Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
• Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and/or English.
• Clear DBS certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Functional Skills Maths and English lessons (Entry Level to Level 2).
• Adapt teaching methods to meet learner needs.
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare learners for assessments and exams.
• Maintain accurate records in line with organisational requirements.
• Provide a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
