Job summary

Pearson TQ Education & Training is seeking a Functional Skills Administrator on a 12 months fixed term maternity cover. The role supports delivery of Functional Skills English and Mathematics across apprenticeship contracts, handling learner records, scheduling, and collaboration with awarding organisations and stakeholders.

The position requires solid administrative experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage deadlines while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
• Solid Excel capability and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administration of English and Mathematics delivery across apprenticeship contracts.
• Register apprentices on the Century e-learning platform and issue login details.
• Maintain learner records, trackers and attendance registers.
• Manage Awarding Organisation registrations and certification activity against deadlines.
• Schedule examinations and coordinate invigilators and venues.
• Support learning plans and allocate tutors via OneFile.
• Upload documents and maintain learner notes in OneFile.
• Ensure QA, verification and standardisation processes are followed.
