Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd is seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across Wigan.

Role focuses on delivering Functional Skills English and/or Maths in a flexible part-time capacity during school hours, with weekly PAYE pay. Candidates should have 1 year UK teaching/tutoring experience and SEN experience, plus DBS and right to work in the UK.

• Experience working with primary and secondary learners.
• SEN experience.
• Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across Wigan.

The Role

• Deliver engaging 1:1 Functional Skills tuition in English and/or Maths.
• Plan lessons according to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.
• Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles, including pupils with SEN.
• Help learners build confidence and improve their academic progress.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year's UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
• SEN experience.
• Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

What TP Tutors Offers
