Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners in OL13, Bacup, Lancashire. This part-time role offers weekday sessions during school hours with a competitive hourly pay rate.

The role requires experience with Functional Skills English and/or Maths, SEN awareness, and a valid enhanced DBS. You will work with learners to build confidence and skills through personalised support, with weekly PAYE payments and ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
• Experience with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
• SEN experience.
• Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across OL13, Bacup, Lancashire. This is a rewarding opportunity to help learners build confidence and develop their English and/or Maths skills through personalised support.
