Job summary

Softcat is seeking a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to bridge business needs with technical delivery and ensure measurable value.

Working in a cross‑functional Agile squad, you will map processes, gather requirements, design solutions and support the rollout of Dynamics 365 capabilities across customer journeys.

This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, deep Dynamics 365 knowledge, and a collaborative, adaptable mindset within Softcat's Manchester-based team.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service or related modules.
• Experience designing business processes using Dynamics 365 capabilities.
• Knowledge of Dataverse and Power Platform functionality.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives and opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and process mapping activities.
• Gather, document and prioritise business requirements.

Working within a cross-functional Agile squad, you will be responsible for understanding business processes, gathering requirements, designing functional solutions and supporting the implementation of Dynamics 365 capabilities across key customer and operational journeys.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 functionality and the ability to translate business challenges into scalable platform-based solutions.

As Functional Consultant D365, you'll be responsible for:
