Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Functional Assessor to join our client’s team for a homebased and site-based role in the UK. You will assess how physical and mental health conditions affect work-related function using your clinical judgement.

Starting salary ranges from £42,000–£43,000 with bonus potential, and earnings up to £44,000. The role offers hybrid working, Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, 25 days leave, and comprehensive training and CPD support.

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• 12+ months' post-registration UK adult clinical experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Experience producing detailed clinical reports and evidence-based documentation.
• Confident IT skills and ability to work across digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess individuals with a range of physical and mental health conditions.
• Explore how these conditions affect day-to-day function and work ability.
• Review medical evidence, clinical history and supporting information.

As a WCA Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical judgement to assess how physical and mental health conditions affect an individual's functional ability in relation to work.

No treatment. No prescribing. No manual handling. No nights. No weekends. No bank holidays.

You'll need:
