Maven Group Ltd invites applications for a WCA Functional Assessor. You will conduct five client assessments daily using telephone, video, or face‑to‑face formats, documenting how health or disability impacts work capability to inform DWP decisions.
The role offers a starting salary of £42,000 per year, rising to £43,000 after 12 months, with both full‑time and part‑time options. On‑site Weymouth work with hybrid/home arrangements, pension, and paid professional fees/ training are provided.
The WCA Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their ability to perform work-related ativity. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.
No experience as a WCA Functional Assessor is needed as full training will be provided which you will be paid your full-time salary for. All we expect is that you will have 1 years post graduate experience as an RGN, RMN, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and hold an NMC or HCPC registration.
