Randstad Education in the UK is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term placements across West Sussex and Surrey. You will support pupils in a range of schools, sustaining daily routines and promoting inclusive learning.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours (8:30–15:30), weekly pay, DBS support, and free CPD training to develop literacy, numeracy and safeguarding skills.

Formación

• Full Monday to Friday availability during standard school hours.
• Prior experience supporting children or young people (in schools, nurseries, sports coaching, care, or youth work).
• Patient, proactive and resilient approach to pupil support.
• Strong communication skills and foundational English and Maths.
• Enhanced DBS check on Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Right to work in the UK and reliable transport links.

Responsabilidades

• Work full-time hours (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) alongside class teachers.
• Lead small group interventions in core literacy, phonics, and numeracy.
• Provide dedicated 1:1 learning support for SEN (ASD, ADHD, speech/language).
• Help create an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Support classroom preparation, learning displays and break-time monitoring.
