TipTopJob is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for long-term placements across West Sussex and Surrey. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM in partner schools, delivering 1:1 support and small-group interventions to pupils, including those with SEN.

You will contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment, assist with classroom preparation, and benefit from weekly PAYE pay at GBP85 to GBP105 per day plus access to accredited CPD training.

Qualifications

• Full Monday to Friday availability during standard school hours.
• Prior experience supporting children or young people (in schools, nurseries, sports coaching, care, or youth work).
• A patient, proactive, and resilient approach to pupil support.
• Right to work in the UK and reliable transport links across West Sussex and Surrey.

• Working full:time hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM : 3:30 PM) alongside class teachers to maintain smooth daily routines.
• Leading small group interventions in core literacy, phonics, and numeracy.
• Providing dedicated 1:1 learning support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, or speech and language delays.
• Helping create an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment throughout the school day.
• Supporting classroom preparation, learning displays, and break:time monitoring.

Qualifications

• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness for one).
