Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking dedicated Full-Time Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in Crawley. You will assist with lesson delivery, provide small-group support, and help pupils develop reading, writing, and maths skills.

The role offers consistent Monday–Friday hours, with long-term placements or supply work. DBS required or willingness to apply; right to work in the UK with reliable transport is essential.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability during standard school hours (Mon-Fri, 8:30–15:30).
• Prior experience working with children or young people.
• Reliable, proactive work ethic and adaptability to new environments.
• Strong proficiency in core English and Maths.
• Enhanced DBS Check on Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Proof of right to work in the UK and transport to Crawley.

Responsibilities

• Assist class teachers with lesson delivery, setup, and resources.
• Provide targeted 1:1 or small-group support in reading, writing and maths.
• Support pupils with additional needs (SEN), including ASD/ADHD.
• Maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom dynamics.
