Job summary
Randstad Education in the United Kingdom is seeking full-time Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools across Crawley. You will contribute to daily lessons, provide 1:1 or small-group support, and help pupils develop reading, writing and maths skills.
The role offers Monday to Friday hours (8:30 AM–3:30 PM) with paid weekly PAYE, a focus on SEN needs including ASD/ADHD, and opportunities for professional development through CPD training.
Qualifications
- Full-time availability during standard school hours (Mon-Fri, 8:30–15:30).
- Experience with children or youth in schools, nurseries, sports, care, or youth work.
- Reliable, proactive, adaptable to new environments.
- Strong proficiency in English and Maths.
- Enhanced DBS check on Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Proof of right to work in the UK and reliable transport to Crawley.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily lesson delivery and classroom setup.
- Provide targeted 1:1 or small-group support in reading, writing, maths.
- Support pupils with SEN including ASD/ADHD and behavioural support.
- Maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Adapt to different school settings and classroom dynamics.
