Job summary

Randstad Education in Crawley is seeking dedicated Full-Time Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools across the area, offering reliable hours and a chance to shape student development.

Role involves assisting with lesson delivery, 1:1 and small-group support in reading, writing and maths; supporting pupils with SEN; maintaining a safe, positive learning environment; and adapting to different school settings.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability during school hours (8:30–15:30).
• Experience with children or young people (schools, nurseries, sports coaching, care, or youth work).
• Proactive and adaptable to new environments.
• Strong English and maths basics.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Proof of right to work in the UK and reliable transport to Crawley.

Responsibilities

• Assist class teachers with daily lesson delivery, classroom setup, and resource management.
• Provide targeted 1:1 or small-group support to help students improve in reading, writing, and maths.
• Support pupils with additional needs (SEN), including ASD/ADHD or behavioural support.
• Maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom dynamics.
