Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Wakefield is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to work across welcoming primary schools. Are you a passionate and motivated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Whether you’re an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we are seeking enthusiastic Fully Qualified Teachers (QTS) to work across a variety of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Wakefield.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in different school settings, broaden your teaching skills, and make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development.

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupil progress

  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil achievement

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching within the Primary sector
  • Possess a strong understanding of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum
  • Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil development
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

A First Aid qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
