Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a dedicated EYFS–KS1 Primary Teacher to work across Wakefield primary schools. This is a full-time role with immediate start (ASAP) and competitive daily pay (£130–£170) across the Wakefield area.

You will deliver engaging lessons in early years and KS1, uphold safeguarding, and build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. A DBS check and QTS are required; First Aid certification is desirable.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1.
  • DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • First Aid certification desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS/KS1.
  • Safeguard and promote children’s welfare.

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be recruiting a dedicated and experienced EYFS–KS1 Primary Teacher to work across our vibrant Wakefield primary schools. This is a full-time opportunity for a passionate educator who is ready to inspire young learners and make a meaningful impact from the very start.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1 settings
  • A clear DBS check (or willingness to obtain one – we’re happy to support you)
  • Basic First Aid certification is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
