Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting Learning Support Assistants for Secondary Schools across Harrow. The role is full-time, five days per week, supporting students academically and personally throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young people is highly desirable.
• Experience in schools, SEND, youth work, coaching, care or similar settings is advantageous.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and their education.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in lessons through 1-to-1, small-group and whole-class support
• Providing additional support to students with SEND and additional learning needs
• Helping students stay focused, engaged and confident in their learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour, resilience and independence
• Supporting students with their academic, social and emotional development
• Working closely with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Building positive relationships with students and helping them reach their potential
