Job summary

Milk Education in the UK is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a primary setting. You will work closely with class teachers in KS1 to provide consistent, compassionate support throughout the school day, helping create a safe, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Experience supporting children with autism and/or PMLD is preferred. The role offers a supportive team, opportunities for professional development, and a chance to make a real difference in children's lives.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with autism and/or PMLD in a school or care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Assist with sensory integration and communication needs.
• Implement structured routines and behaviour support strategies.
• Foster independence, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, Learning Support Assistants and the wider school team.
