Job summary

Milk Education is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join a small, inclusive setting in the L27 area, supporting children across EYFS and KS1 with autism. You will work with a warm team to create a positive, structured, and child-centred learning environment where every child can thrive.

We are looking for a teacher who can deliver differentiated, high-quality lessons for EYFS/KS1 children with autism, collaborating with teaching assistants to maintain calm routines and drive

Qualifications

  • QTS or EYTS required.
  • Experience in EYFS/KS1 (SEND experience desirable).
  • Ability to adapt curriculum for children with autism.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated Early Years and KS1 lessons.
  • Support children with social communication needs.
  • Work with teaching assistants to create calm, consistent environments.
  • Use a nurturing, child-centred approach to behaviour and learning.
  • Contribute to EHCP targets, observations and progress monitoring.
  • Build strong relationships with families and promote inclusive practice.

Education

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYTS
