Pannal Primary School in Harrogate is seeking an HLTA to support learning across the primary range. You will deliver targeted interventions, work with students individually and in small groups, and assist with reading, writing and numeracy to raise outcomes. You will complement teachers, lead PPA, monitor progress, and support safeguarding.

We welcome applicants with experience with primary children and a commitment to inclusion. HLTA status (or equivalent) is desirable.

Formación

• Experience supporting young people in an educational setting.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Passionate about improving outcomes for disadvantaged learners.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Committed to inclusion and high expectations.
• Desirable HLTA status or equivalent experience/qualification.
• Experience working with primary-aged children (ages 3-11).
• Strong safeguarding and child protection commitment.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver targeted intervention programmes.
• Work with students individually and in small groups.
• Support improvements in reading, writing and numeracy outcomes.
• Monitor and track student progress.
• Promote positive attitudes towards learning and achievement.
• Support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
• Cover for absence across the primary range when required.
• Assist planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
