Job summary

Veritas Education are seeking a Primary school HLTA to support pupils across KS1 and KS2 in Bradford and surrounding areas. The role requires an HLTA qualification or equivalent experience, with a passion for helping children reach their full potential and build positive relationships.

You will manage behaviours, deliver pre-planned learning, track progress and report interventions, and provide class cover as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have HLTA qualification or recent equivalent experience.
• Experience in a school setting essential.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and adapt lessons for diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour.
• Deliver pre-planned academic work to classes.
• Record and report pupils' progress and interventions.
• Covering classes during teacher absence.
