Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming primary school in Leeds to appoint a Primary HLTA on a long-term basis from September. The successful candidate will work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering targeted interventions, supporting classroom teaching and providing whole-class cover when required to help maintain a positive learning environment.

The school is looking to appoint a Primary HLTA on a long-term basis from September. The successful Primary HLTA will work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering targeted interventions, supporting classroom teaching and providing whole class cover when required, while helping to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

The successful Primary HLTA will have:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 within a UK primary school
• Confidence leading whole class learning and delivering small group interventions
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
