Zusammenfassung

Aspire People is seeking an English Teacher for full-time, long-term secondary teaching roles across Birmingham and Solihull from November 2026 onwards. You will deliver English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 and support GCSE exam preparation.

We welcome experienced teachers and ECTs with strong classroom and behaviour management, planning, marking and assessment duties. Weekly pay and longer-term opportunities are available through our partner schools.

Qualifikationen

• Hold QTS or QTLS.
• Experience delivering English within a secondary school.
• Can teach English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4.
• Available for full-time work, ideally five days per week.

Aufgaben

• Deliver English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach GCSE English and support pupils with exam preparation.
• Take responsibility for a full teaching timetable, typically five days per week.
• Plan engaging lessons and adapt teaching to different abilities.
• Mark, assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Maintain clear classroom expectations and manage behaviour confidently.
• Work closely with English departments and wider school staff.
• Support SEND and EAL pupils through appropriate teaching strategies.
