Job summary

Class Act Recruitment Agency is seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles starting ASAP in primary schools. The role involves providing dedicated one-to-one support to pupils with SEND, supporting teachers with tailored activities, and adapting resources to individual needs.

A Level 2/3 TA qualification and strong safeguarding commitment are essential. You will join a network serving North London, East London, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas, with branches

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
• Experience working in a primary school setting.
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with SEND needs.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
• Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning requirements.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and report to the teacher.
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
• Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
