Job summary

Class Act Recruitment is seeking SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles, starting ASAP. You will provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with SEND needs in primary schools, assisting teachers with tailored activities and adapting resources to individual learning requirements.

A focus on safeguarding and inclusive practice is essential. Salary is paid weekly through PAYE, with access to exclusive deals and comprehensive wellbeing services.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
• Experience working in a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND needs on a one-to-one basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with SEND needs.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
• Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning requirements.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and report to the teacher.
