Job summary

Class Act is recruiting SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles starting ASAP in primary schools. You will support pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis, help deliver tailored activities, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2 or 3 TA qualifications, have experience in primary settings, and can build positive relationships with pupils and staff while safeguarding and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Experience as a TA in a primary school setting is essential.
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is essential.
• Ability to support pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with SEND needs
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning requirements
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Monitor and record pupil progress and report to the teacher
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals
• Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
