Job summary

Full Health Medical is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Engineer to design, build and operate distributed systems that process healthcare data at scale. You will work across frontend, backend, APIs and infrastructure, integrating with third-party platforms and cloud services to deliver secure, scalable software.

You will contribute to architectural decisions, own features from implementation to production, and drive reliability and performance in a modern, regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial experience building modern web and backend applications.
• Proficient with Next.js.
• Proficient with TypeScript / Node.js.
• Experience with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication and security.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools.
• Experience working with healthcare or other regulated industries (desirable).
• Experience with FHIR R4/R4B and HL7 v2 interoperability standards (desirable).
• Experience with event-driven architectures (desirable).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain distributed web applications and backend services.
• Develop features across frontend, backend, APIs and infrastructure.
• Integrate with third-party vendor platforms, healthcare systems and open-source technologies.
• Design scalable APIs and data models.
• Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Drive software quality through testing, observability and operational excellence.
• Contribute to architectural decisions while remaining actively involved in implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance.
