Bluecrest Wellness is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join our hybrid team in Worthing, West Sussex. You will work across the full stack, building modern front-end applications with Next.js, React and Angular, and scalable back-end services with PHP Laravel/Symfony.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial experience as a full stack developer.
• Proficient in PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and accessibility and WCAG standards.
• Extensive knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL.
• Experience building and maintaining performant APIs and integrating them with frontend applications to deliver features end to end.
• Strong understanding of Git and code versioning tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and modern testing/observability tools.
• Experience with automated testing (Cypress/Playwright) and observability (Sentry/New Relic).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices (OWASP).
• Team player with energy and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to security principles for modern web-based applications.
• Write clean, modular, maintainable code and follow coding standards.
• Review code and participate in issue resolution and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug and triage issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Work with frameworks and existing codebases to deliver features end to end.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to determine best practices.
• Develop intuitive software that scales for the business.
• Engage in training and continuous learning.
