Job summary

apetito operates the UK’s leading food supply network for health and social care, with dedicated care homes, schools and hospitals. The role offers fixed shifts, a 40-hour week, and a competitive hourly rate in a freezer environment.

You will pick and pack meals in a -23°C freezer, using voice picking, with full PPE provided. Overtime and weekend allowances may apply, and a discretionary bonus scheme is in place.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrate commitment and stability.
• Flexible, good attendance and timekeeping.
• Multi-skilled or willing to learn new skills.
• Open and honest team player.
• Calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Must manage in a high speed picking environment.

Responsibilities

• Replenishment of empty pick locations.
• Loading vehicles for delivery.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all areas.
• Report health and safety concerns, stock quality issues and breakdowns.
• Place frozen products with minimal ambient exposure.
• Pick and assemble orders in a -22 to -25°C coldstore.
• Load stock for bulk storage.
