Job summary

apetito is the UK’s leading food supplier to health and social care sectors, serving over 1,300 care homes, health care and education settings. Our meals are crafted by dieticians and chefs and then frozen to lock in the goodness.

We are seeking a warehouse picker on a permanent night shift (Sunday to Thursday). You will use voice picking in a -23°C freezer, load vehicles, and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Commitment and stability.
• Flexible, good attendance and timekeeping.
• Multi-skilled or willing to learn new skills.
• Open and honest team player.
• Can-do attitude; calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Replenishment of empty pick locations.
• Loading vehicles for delivery.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all areas.
• Report health and safety concerns, stock quality issues, and breakdowns.
• Ensure frozen products stay within temperature controls.
• Pick and assemble orders in the coldstore (-22/25°C) with high quality and accuracy.
• Loading stock for bulk storage.
