Job summary

apetito UK is seeking a warehouse picker to join our frontline freezing and coldstore operations. You will pick and pack meals in a -22/25°C environment, with paid breaks and 40 hours per week on a Monday-to-Friday fixed shift pattern.

A competitive salary of £16.16 per hour (£33,619.08 per year) plus benefits is offered. Good attendance, reliability and the ability to work under pressure are essential as you contribute to meeting strict delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Flexible, good attendance and timekeeping.
• Calm under pressure, with the ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Multiskilled or willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Replenishment of empty pick locations.
• Loading vehicles for delivery.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in all areas.
• Reporting Health and Safety concerns, stock quality problems, and mechanical breakdowns.
• Ensuring frozen product is kept at correct temperatures.
• Picking and assembling orders in the coldstore (-22/25°C).
• Loading stock for bulk storage.
