Job summary
apetito Limited is seeking a Warehouse Picker to join our front-line team at our Portbury distribution centre. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:00 (40 hours per week) with a pay of £16.16 per hour (£33,619.08 per year) plus bonus and benefits.
Work involves picking and packing in a freezer environment, with PPE provided and training on a voice-picking system. You will load vehicles, replenish pick locations, and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines in a high-speed coldstore environment.
Qualifications
- Must have previous warehouse experience.
- Demonstrate commitment and stability.
- Flexible with attendance and timekeeping.

- Can-do attitude and motivated approach.
- Calm under pressure in a high-speed picking environment.
- Experience with SAP/Voice picking is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Replenishment of empty pick locations.
- Loading Vehicles for delivery.
- Attention to detail is paramount in all areas.
- Reporting of issues such as Health and Safety concerns, stock quality problems, and mechanical breakdowns.
- Ensuring frozen product is placed under minimal exposure to ambient temperatures.
- Picking and assembling orders in the coldstore (-22 to -25°C).
- Loading stock for bulk storage.
