Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is recruiting a delivery driver for 40 hours per week on a 3-month Fixed Term Contract. You will deliver frozen meals to customers and provide excellent service.

You must hold a full UK manual driving licence, be comfortable using phone apps, and work across 5 in 6 days including bank holidays. Training and protective clothing provided for -20C coldstore duties.

Qualifications

• Essential: Experience within a customer service-based role.
• Essential: Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Essential: Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Essential: Evidence of work stability.
• Essential: Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Using our app to update customer deliveries.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Help the office and picking teams when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist the team if another member is absent.
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops.
