Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, seeks a delivery driver to serve customers with frozen meals across the UK. You will work 40 hours per week over 5 in 6 days, including bank holidays, in a coldstore environment with protective clothing provided.

The role involves multi-drop deliveries, customer service, and local marketing activities, with an emphasis on safety and reliability. Salary is £13.45 per hour plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Essential: Experience in a customer service-based role.
• Essential: Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Essential: Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Essential: Evidence of work stability.
• Essential: Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Pick orders within the coldstore.
• Update customers deliveries using our app.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Carry out pre-shift vehicle inspections.
• Drive safely, legally and responsibly.
• Refuel/clean the van as needed.
• Contact office with discrepancies or delays.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Assist office/picking team when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Support team when others are away or on holiday.
• Carry out local marketing activities to attract new customers.
