Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking a delivery driver to service customers across the UK. You will deliver frozen meals from a chilly -20ºC coldstore, using a company app to log deliveries and ensuring punctual, friendly service to customers at their doors.

The role involves 40 hours per week in 5 days out of 6, with bank holidays; a UK manual driving licence is essential and driving assessments/DBS checks apply. £13.45 per hour plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy (phone apps).
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Pick orders within the coldstore.
• Use our app to update customer deliveries.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely and legally at all times.
• Clean and refuel your van as needed.
• Report discrepancies or delays to the office.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Support office and picking teams as required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist team during absences or holidays.
• Conduct local marketing activities to attract new customers.
