Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Verification Assurance Officer for the North East to work on the frontline, interviewing claimants and collaborating with Jobcentre colleagues to prevent fraud in the welfare system.

Qualifications

• Ability to interview claimants and work with frontline teams.
• Strong communications to educate customers on responsibilities and consequences of non-compliance.
• Willingness to travel between sites as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evidence interviews and verification activities with claimants and colleagues.
• Provide regular feedback on fraud trends to risk and intelligence teams.
• Lead customer education sessions to clarify responsibilities and consequences of non-compliance.
• Maintain accurate Management Information (MI) as directed by analysts.
