Job summary

OpenAI, Inc. is seeking an IT Support team member to be the first contact for hardware, software, and network issues. You will coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and actively participate in process improvements to streamline IT workflows and onboarding across the London and SF offices.

The role requires strong macOS expertise, good Windows knowledge, and excellent communication. You will work five days in the office per week and benefit from relocation support for new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting macOS environments and basic Windows familiarity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to IT processes and problem solving.
• Experience with identity and device management platforms.
• Vendor management and budget-conscious procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as frontline IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Improve IT support systems and processes with repeatable workflows.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Security, Facilities, People Ops, and other teams to enhance employee experience.
