Job summary

Premier Inn in Telford is seeking a Duty Manager to lead hotel operations during your shift, coordinating reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll work on the floor, not just supervise, and support the broader leadership team to keep the hotel running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a busy, customer-facing environment.
• Ability to coach and support team members throughout shifts.
• Willingness to learn hotel operations and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant.
• Provide clear pre-shift briefings and coach team members.
• Resolve guest questions and problems quickly and politely.
• Jump in to support different teams during busy periods.
• Spot issues early and take decisive action.
• Ensure guest safety and smooth hotel operation.
• Collaborate with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
