Premier Inn in Torquay is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the hotel during shifts, working across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay.

You will be on the floor, helping your team wherever needed, briefing before shifts and ensuring operations run smoothly. This role offers a permanent contract with guaranteed hours and progression to future hotel management opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy customer-facing environments is welcome.
• Decision-making, staying calm under pressure, and taking ownership are valued traits.
• No hotel experience required; experience in retail or service roles is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Coach team members and provide guidance throughout the day.
• Assist guests with questions and resolve issues to ensure a great stay.
• Coordinate with reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to keep operations smooth.
