Job summary

Premier Inn Redditch is seeking a Duty Manager to help run the hotel across reception, housekeeping and restaurant during shifts. You’ll lead teams, brief staff before each shift and ensure smooth operations while delivering great guest experiences.

You’ll collaborate with the Hotel Manager and senior leaders, coaching colleagues and solving problems on the floor so the team remains calm and effective during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy customer-facing environments is essential.
• Capable decision-maker who stays calm under pressure and acts quickly when issues arise.
• Willingness to mentor and coach colleagues across hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
