Job summary

Whitbread's Premier Inn in Chatham / Gillingham (Victory Pier) is hiring a Duty Manager on a permanent, 30-hour-per-week basis. Pay is up to £13.86 per hour, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy customer-facing environments.
• Able to coach staff and run shift briefings.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and busy periods.
• Strong decision making and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and resolve problems.
• Switch between departments, from reception to restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Keep guests safe and ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Work closely with Hotel Manager and leadership team.
