Job summary

Whitbread’s Oldham Premier Inn is hiring a Duty Manager to lead shifts, coordinate reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams, and ensure a smooth guest experience. You’ll influence daily operations, resolve issues and support the leadership team to keep the hotel running at peak times.

This is a permanent role with guaranteed hours, paying up to £13.86 per hour, and offers a clear path to future growth within Whitbread’s hotel portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy customer-facing environments from retail, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs or healthcare.
• If you’ve led people before, we can teach you the hotel.
• You’re confident making decisions, enjoy helping people and stay calm when things get busy.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
