Premier Inn in Chatham / Gillingham (Victory Pier) is hiring a Duty Manager to lead hotel shifts, support reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams, and ensure guests have a smooth, great stay.

You'll work on the floor, coordinate briefings, coach colleagues, and resolve issues quickly. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on leadership and delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience guiding teams in busy customer-facing settings.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and calmly under pressure.
• Strong customer-service mindset with focus on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
