Job summary

Accor’s Novotel Edinburgh Centre is seeking a friendly front-of-house host to warmly welcome guests and place their wellbeing at the heart of every stay.

Deliver quality service at check-in/out, respond promptly to requests, ensure charges are posted accurately, handle calls, and promote hotel facilities to maximise sales.

Fluency in English and familiarity with OPERA Cloud are valued. We offer benefits including discounts, free nights, meals, uniform, pension and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English.
• Customer Service experience.
• Prior experience with OPERA Cloud is valued.

Responsibilities

• Be the front-of-house face at Novotel Edinburgh Centre, warmly welcoming guests and ensuring their well-being.
• Ensure a wonderful guest experience.
• Provide quality service by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout the stay.
• Ensure all charges are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
• Handle calls promptly and professionally.
• Document accurately all internal and guest messages.
• Promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through product knowledge and selling skills.
• Attend to other duties as requested by Management and Supervisors

• Are the ‘face of Novotel Edinburgh Centre, extending a warm welcome to our guests, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay.
