Job summary

The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, part of IHG Hotels Limited, seeks a dynamic Front Office Supervisor. You will lead the front desk team at a 279-room hotel, overseeing check-in/out, guest interactions, and a smooth guest experience at Manchester's Beetham Tower.

With Opera PMS knowledge, you’ll train and motivate staff, handle escalations, and champion IHG One Rewards. This role aligns with the brand transition to InterContinental by 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel front office role.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team and managing daily operations at the front desk, overseeing check-in and check-out.
• Covering duty manager shifts and being fully conversant with hotel emergency procedures.
• Coaching and supporting the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Handling guest requests and escalated issues to turn challenges into positive stays.
• Engaging with guests and sharing local knowledge to tailor service.
