Holston Medical Group is seeking a Front Office I to be the first point of contact for patients, greet visitors, collect copays, and enter data into the EMR. You will schedule follow-up appointments, verify insurance, and maintain patient flow in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires 1-2 years in a medical office or customer service setting, strong cash handling skills, and excellent customer service. Prior experience with managed care is a plus.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a medical office or customer service position, preferred.
• Proven success asking for payment, making change, and balancing a cash drawer.
• Working knowledge of managed care and overall understanding of HMOs and PPOs, preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills is a must.

Responsabilidades

• Open and prepare the office for the day and greet patients and visitors.
• Check in patients, collect payments, verify insurance, and enter data into the EMR.
• Check out patients, schedule follow-up appointments, and balance transactions.
• Handle general office tasks and respond to billing questions.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and maintain a professional front office environment.
• Cross-train to support other office functions when needed.
